Service Description

This treatment is dedicated to soothing the symptoms of stress triggered by grief - away from the rest of the world. There is no expectation to verbally share about your grief, you are welcome to share as little or as much as you feel comfortable without receiving any judgement, advice or opinions. Much consideration is given to your needs on the day understanding that it’s difficult to leave the comfort and safety of your home when grieving and to meet the energy levels of being social. *Nurture Her treatments are offered exclusively on a Thursday. Therefore no other service can be booked on this day. Please allow a total of 75 minutes which includes a 15 minute consultation. *Private health rebates apply to this service Suitable for: • Loss of a pregnancy, stillborn baby or neonatal baby. • Traumatic Experience, physical or emotional. • Passing of a loved one. • Caregivers in need of support during a time of supporting others. • Those experiencing renewed grief of anniversaries or other significant dates. Benefits of this treatment: • A safe and nurturing space with no intention of ‘fixing’ your grief. You can just ‘be’ yet, not be alone. • A temporary escape from the world that often wants you to ‘feel better’ and ‘move on’ from your grief. • No judgement surrounding your grief and no expectation placed upon you. • Assists the body to activate the ‘rest and restore’ responses in the body with slow flowing strokes, offering respite from a stressed state. • An offering of warmth, comfort and care during a time of high physical, mental and emotional strain. Grief and The Body • Grief is stressful on the body. • Research tells us that when the body is under stress the physiology of the body changes. • The bodily functions that optimise the immune system as well as those that promote the body's natural healing abilities are put on hold when the body is stressed. • An opportunity to allow your body some restoration time and to have a moment in a safe setting with no additional pressures on you is the ultimate goal. The treatment welcomes: • Falling asleep • Talking or not talking • Being you, however you are feeling on the day

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy Manage your booking up to 24 hours before your appointment time either online or by contacting me on 0413 954 653. You are not asked to make a deposit or full payment upon making a booking at Mama & Bump - here it is important to offer you flexibility and understanding that sometimes things don’t go to plan and changes to bookings need to be made. Please understand that it is difficult to fill cancellations at the last minute and therefore please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of a reschedule or cancellation. Cancellations will not be taken via social media messaging platforms as they are not checked frequently. You will be invoiced 50% of your booked service in the following instances: +When less than 24 hours notice has been provided. You will be invoiced 100% of your booked service in the following instances: +When less than 4 hours notice has been provided. +Non-attendance at the booked appointment without making contact. Pregnant Clients There is no cancellation fee for early delivery/earlier than expected delivery of your baby Booking Policy Upon booking an appointment time online, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your junk mail should this email not be received in your inbox shortly after your booking is placed. If this email is not received, please send an email to info@mamaandbump.com.au to confirm that your booking has been received. You will receive a reminder text message before your upcoming appointment. Failure to attend the booked appointment without making contact with Mama & Bump will incur a cancellation fee. Please refer to the cancellation policy for other times in which fees may be applied.
